2. DPG-Herbsttagung (2nd DPG Fall Meeting): 100 Years of Quantum Physics

8 - 12 September 2025
Georg-August-Universität Göttingen

Join us in celebrating the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology 2025 at the birthplace of quantum mechanics in Göttingen. We are excited to announce our plenary speakers Harald Appelshäuser, Alain Aspect (Nobel prize 2022), Gianfranco Bertone, Immanuel Bloch, Silke Bühler-Paschen, Serge Haroche (Nobel prize 2012), Beate Heinemann, Klaus von Klitzing (Nobel prize 1985), Jürgen Renn, Pascale Senellart, Anton Zeilinger (Nobel prize 2022) and Wojciech Zurek.

Invited symposia organised by the DPG Sections SAMOP, SKM and SMuK are dedicated to the newest developments in quantum physics.

Outreach, panel discussions on quantum mechanics, a full afternoon dedicated to quantum in industry and a public evening lecture, given by Heike Riel, will round off the programme.

Submission of abstracts for contributed talks and posters will open on 31 March 2025. The conference aims to give all attendees the opportunity to present their research.

Registration will open on 15 April 2025.
